GS 270 is a light Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) isoparaffinic solvent used in paints and coatings, printing inks, industrial cleaning, and specialty formulations. It’s produced via Fischer-Tropsch synthesis from natural gas.

GTL solvents contain virtually no sulfur, no aromatics, and no naphthenes — only isoparaffinic hydrocarbons. This purity results in exceptionally low odor, superior toxicological profile, and excellent formulation consistency.

GS 270 offers higher purity than conventional petroleum isoparaffins like Shellsol T or Isopar. The natural gas origin eliminates trace impurities common in crude-oil-derived products, though it typically commands a premium price.
